It has been rumoured that Arcam are due to release products to replace their award winning Arcam rDAC and rDACkw DACs. It is speculated that they will be announced at CES 2013 in Las Vegas http://www.cesweb.org/. At the moment details are very sketchy but from what we have heard the irDAC will come with a remote, have 2 coaxial inputs and 2 optical inputs, both capable of 24/192 and a Class 1 and Class 2 USB input similar to their D33 DAC. The aptly named AirDAC will have Airplay capabilities and fewer inputs than the irDAC and will enable iOS devices to wirelessly stream to existing HiFi systems and get the best possible quality. We would be looking at a price of just £399 for each of the units and I hope that they will be available soon. I would love to do a comparison and review of the rDAC against the irDAC and Musical Fidelity M1 DAC-A and see how they all fare!Arcam AirDAC DAC Converter
