Astell&Kern are at it again and producing another game changer by announcing the Astell& Kern AK Jr. Offering a 3.1 inch 240×400 display, Wolfson wm8740 single dac, 1.95 Vrms output and weighing just 93g. We are still not sure what the price is of this new portable audio player, however looking at the spec I can imagine it will be cheaper than their AK100 II.

Astell&Kern offer amazing build quality with their products and a simple to use user interface that all users will find enjoyable. The AK Jr will offer an excellent upgrade path for those wishing to get better sound than from the iPhone or Smartphone. The 1.95Vrms will basically power any earphone with ease so it makes the AK Jr a good choice even for customers with harder to drive earphones.
