The first product in the new Essentials range is on demonstration at the Bristol Sound + Vision show 2013. The Essentials USB DAC is a high performance USB audio interface that enables personal computers to deliver reference quality audio reproduction.
The product operates in asynchronous mode and supports all sample rates from 32kHz to 192kHz via a high-speed USB interface. A driver is supplied for use with Windows systems, MAC and Linux will work without additional drivers.
The product is based on Leema’s USB M1 module, which is also available to OEMs and hobbyists.
