The latest generation Hyper Achromatic offers a sophisticated, evenly balanced sound which draws you into the musical performance.

Hyper utilises an OCC (Ohno Continous Casting) high purity copper conductor with a PEF (Foamed Polyethylene) dielectric. This design and construction combines wide bandwidth with excellent resistance to RFI (Radio Frequency Interference), which can raise noise levels, resulting in a loss of low level detail in a poorly shielded cable.

The Hyper Achromatic is fitted with the self-cleaning Achromatic RCA plug - just remove and re-insert it to clean the contact areas. The low-mass Achromatic connector features a solder-free, cold-weld connection, optimised to create a coherent, continuous signal path.

The result is a natural-sounding interconnect which achieves a large open soundstage and fine levels of resolution without any sense of exaggerated detail, which is superficially impressive but quickly fatiguing to listen to.

Technology

• Achromatic RCA Connector - low-mass, non-compression, constant impedance, self-cleaning, solder-free construction plug.
• OCC Copper Conductor - OCC (Ohno Continuous Casting) process was developed by Professor Ohno, from the Chiba Institute of Technology, to manufacture a very high purity single grain copper or silver. There are only a handful of companies in the world manufacturing via this method.
• PEF Dieletric - Foamed Polyethylene. The foaming process uses a blowing agent, of which there are two types. Atlas use the gas-foamed method which creates a more inert, consistent and higher quality product.
• Coaxial Construction - Central conductor (signal path) surrounded by dielectric material encased within a circular conducting screen which acts as the signal return path.
