Fostex's highest-rated lacquer-finished housing ever used in their headphones, featured in these high-end closed-back headphones. The lacquer / Bordeaux-finished housing delivers premium sound quality and the joy of ownership.

These high-end closed-back stereo headphones feature a newly developed driver unit with 1.5 Tesla magnetic flux density, a BioDynamic diaphragm, and an optimized 7N (OFC) cable with optimized wire diameter.

Please note this product is the Simplified Packaging Edition of the TH900mk2, which does not include a headphone stand, and features simplified packaging. The included cable is 2.00m long with PVC sheathing (same cable as the TH910, etc.)

Featuring a beautiful lacquered Bordeaux finish housing crafted by Sakamoto Otsuzo Shoten, a company with 110 years of history. It delivers a premium feel befitting a made-in-Japan product that blends traditional craftsmanship. The housing is crafted from premium Mizume-zakura wood, renowned for its fine, dense grain, exceptional hardness, and beautiful surface finish.

The magnetic circuit with a repulsive magnetic field incorporates a 50mm driver unit with a magnetic flux density of 1.5 tesla. It delivers an expansive dynamic range through its ultra-powerful magnetic circuit with low distortion.

The diaphragm employs Biodyna technology. It delivers rich sound in the ultra-low frequencies, a natural midrange, and, for the high frequencies, achieves reproduction with particularly excellent presence.

The TH900MKLE comes with a high-purity OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper) unbalanced cable rated at 7N (99.99999%) grade, which maximizes transmission capability by eliminating impurities to the utmost degree.

The ear pads feature protein leather and low-rebound cushioning. Incorporating egg-derived protein delivers a pleasant feel against the skin and comfortable fit. Additionally, they achieve a 60% weight reduction compared to genuine leather.
